Stephanie L. (Sarberg) Danielson, age 31, of Alexandria, died as a result of complications of kidney failure on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria with Rev. Duane Danielson and Rev. Hans Dahl officiating.  Music is provided by Keith Martinson. Private family interment will take place at Norunga Lutheran Cemetery in rural Farwell.

A visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria and continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Stephanie Lynn was born on March 31, 1988, to Peter and Susan (Anderson) Sarberg in Edina.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.  The Sarbergs moved to Alexandria when Stephanie was a small child and she attended public school.  She graduated from Jefferson High School in 2006. Stephanie attended the University of Minnesota and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Psychology in 2010.  Following her education, she worked various jobs helping people in Behavioral Health/Social Work in Bemidji.  She especially enjoyed working as a behavioral therapist at the Minnesota Autism Center in St. Cloud and Crisis Management in Bemidji. Stephanie was united in marriage to Dillon A. Danielson on March 21, 2019, at the Fireside Inn in Detroit Lakes.  Following their marriage, they lived in Alexandria and for a brief time, in Arizona.  Her husband, Dillon, died unexpectedly on August 29, 2019.  Stephanie was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed travel, music, especially attending various concerts.  In her spare time, she also enjoyed target shooting, deer hunting and spending time in the water, whether it be a lake, ocean or pool.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillon; paternal grandparents, Dr. Lee and Marian Sarberg; maternal grandparents, James and Ardeen Anderson; and uncle, Shawn Anderson.

Stephanie is survived by her parents; Peter and Susan Sarberg of Alexandria; brother, Matthew (Ali) Sarberg of Duluth; uncles, James (Debra) Anderson of Northfield and David (Jeanne) Anderson of Montgomery; aunt, Becky (Scott) Sarkela of Grand Rapids; numerous cousins; and special friends, Scott (Lori) Karppinen of Hoyt Lakes.

Urnbearers are Andrew Karppinen, Ethan Karppinen, Steven Sarkela, and Erik Sarkela.  Honorary urnbearers Rob Tatro, Lindsey Stier and Kristen Bieganek.
