Lucille E. Klimek, age 82, of Henning, died after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at St. William’s Living Center in Parkers Prairie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Henning with Fr. LeRoy Schik officiating. The service will be live streamed.  Interment will take place at 12 noon, on Friday, February 12, 2021, at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Henning.

Lucille Ellen was born on January 6, 1939, the oldest of six, to John and Ruth (Wright) Wark, Sr., in Woodside Township.  She attended Highway Park Country School and graduated from Henning High School in 1957.  Following her education, Lucille moved to the Twin Cities and worked as a bank teller.  She was married to Gerald Klimek in Millerville in 1960.  They continued living in the cities for a year, moved to Rose City for a short time and settled in Millerville where she raised her four children.  Lucille and Gerald moved to Henning in 1991, and in 2003, she moved into town.  She was a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church and TOPS.  Lucille enjoyed reading, puzzles, flowers, embroidery, entertaining, and baking.  She loved people and spending time with friends and especially loved time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Milo Wark and Lindley Wark; brother-in-law, Bill Rehm; granddaughter, Amber Debilzen; sister-in-law, Delrose (Harland) Dreger; and brothers-in-law, Erwin (Virginia) Klimek and Eddie Koep.

Lucille is survived by her two sons, John (Verona) Klimek of Custer, South Dakota, and Larry (fiancée, Sally Wicklund) of Farmington; two daughters, Debbie (Jim) Guy of Zimmerman, and Julie (Paul) Debilzen of Parkers Prairie; two brothers, John (Karen Clevette) Wark, Jr., of Otsego and Steve (Sharon) Wark of Avon; sister, Karen Rehm of Henning; brother-in-law, Delmar Klimek of Garfield; sisters-in-law, Corrine Koep of Millerville, Kathy Wark of Fergus Falls, and Bev Wark; four grandchildren, Rachel Klimek, Sara (Scott) Overbye, Kyle Debilzen, and Dustin Debilzen; great-granddaughter, Brynlee Overbye; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Pallbearers are her family.
