Obituary

Francis (Fritz) G. Roller, 76, Alexandria, died Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 at Alomere Hospital in Alexandria, Minnesota.

Francis Gregory Roller was born on October 1, 1943, in Hettinger County, the son of Vincent P. and Magdalen (Selinger) Roller. He graduated high school from St Mary’s School in New England, North Dakota. Francis entered the Army in 1964 and served in Germany. He was honorably discharged in 1970. Following his discharge, he attended North Dakota State School of Science, Wahpeton, North Dakota in the Machinist program. Francis worked for Harold Peterson Manufacturing, Melroe, and Remmele Engineering before becoming a partner with Con-Tek Machine in St Paul, Minnesota in 1981. Francis retired from Con-Tek in the spring of 2012. He then took pride in his part time work for his nephew, Kent Annis at Full Circle International.

Francis was described by many as a selfless man, full of kindness and compassion. Always in good spirits, ready to share a joke and a story.
