Violet Belle Irby, born on April 9, 1980, in Martinsville, Indiana, was known for her warm and vibrant spirit. A distinguished graduate of Seagoville High School in Texas, Violet excelled academically, graduating with honors.

Her life took a joyful turn 10 years ago when she met Kevin. Together, they made their home in Brooten, where Violet became a cherished member of Big Grove Lutheran Church. Violet and Kevin's love was palpable, especially during their dance to "Love in the Hot Afternoon," a moment where Violet felt most content in Kevin's embrace. Kevin's daily calls from work and lunchtime visits were a testament to their deep bond.

Music was a significant part of Violet's life, a passion she shared with her stepdad, John Jensen. Their shared love for Def Leppard led them to attend numerous concerts, culminating in a memorable birthday surprise with backstage passes, a gesture that brought immense joy to Violet.

Violet's relationship with her family was deeply rooted in love and shared activities. Her nightly video calls with Aunt Marla often included diamond art sessions, fostering a unique bond. Similarly, her calls with Aunt Judy and nieces, Bella, Henasey, and Jo, who affectionately called her aunt, were the highlight of her day.

Violet's hobbies spanned from pen-pal correspondence, trading stickers and postcards, to creating diamond art. She enjoyed both 80's hits and classic country tunes and was an avid Harry Potter fan.

Violet's life was enriched by the presence of two wonderful stepdads, John Jensen and Jim Irby, who sadly passed away unexpectedly in 2018. Her journey, marked by love, music, and deep family connections, leaves a legacy of joy and warmth in the hearts of those she touched.

She was preceded in death by her granny Alice; grandma Marilyn; aunt Rosa; stepdad, Jim and her beloved service dog, Hunter.

Violet is survived by her boyfriend, Kevin Ball; parents, John and Sue Jensen; grandpa, Larry Osborne; aunts, Marla Sheetz (Jim Clark) and Judy (Greg) Becker; nieces and nephew, Bella, Henasey, Jo, Kegan, and Keira; special cousins, Brad, Vicki and Greg; along with several additional cousins and a host of friends.
