Thomas Bundy, age 85, of Alexandria, died on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at St. William’s Living Center in Parkers Prairie under the care of Knute Nelson Hospice.
A private family interment will take place at Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Little Falls with full military honors.
Thomas was born on March 19, 1935, to Warren and Gladys (Griffith) Bundy in Alexandria. He attended school in Alexandria until he joined the U.S. Air Force and served for four years. Thomas was honorably discharged returned to Alexandria. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged after 19 years of service. During his 22 years, 5 months, and 26 days in the service, Thomas served our country in the Vietnam and Korean wars. Following his service time, he returned to Alexandria where he lived until the time of his death. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and the Navy Fleet Reserve. Thomas enjoyed cross stitching baby blankets and quilts as well as collecting stamps and coins. He also enjoyed model cars.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Guy Bundy; and sister, Clara Mae Tvrdik.
Thomas is survived by his nephew, Ralph (Barb) Tvrdik of Alexandria; brother, Mike (Linda) Bundy of Spicer; and many other nephews and nieces.
