Threasilla "Terry" G. Larson, age 84, of Parkers Prairie, died Saturday, February 12, 2011, at St. William's Living Center.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, February 17, 2011, at St. Williams Catholic Church in Parkers Prairie. Burial will take place at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m., prayer service at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Miltona and continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Threasilla Gertrude "Terry" Larson was born August 24, 1926, to Leo and Barbara (Gerber) Illies in Hoven, South Dakota. She grew up in Bowdle Township on the Bachman family farm and attended country school. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith. Following her education she moved to Minneapolis where she worked at a clothing store. She was united in marriage to Ray A. Larson. Following their marriage they lived in Bloomington, Minnesota. She worked for Control Data until her retirement in 1987. Following retirement, she and her husband moved to live on Lake Miltona. Her husband, Ray died in September of 2006. She moved into Windmill Ponds in Alexandria in 2007, before moving to St. William's Living Center in Parkers Prairie in November of 2010. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Miltona. She enjoyed quilting, making dolls, crafts of all types, vegetable and flower gardening, camping and taking daily walks.

Terry is survived by a son, Jay (Maria) Larson of Lawton, Oklahoma; a step-son, Michael (Gisela) Larson of Eagan, Minnesota; six sisters, Marceline Beitlespacher, Bernie Nash, Irene Raymond, Lucille Roder, Caroline Haase and Charlotte Grease; four grandchildren, Jesse, Garret, Jacob and Pamela; a great-grandson, Jared; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; step-son, Gary; four sisters and one brother.

Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
