Tammy Ann was born to Lyle and Vera (Aldrich) Pruden on January 27, 1958, in Kent, Washington. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and graduated from high school in Kent, Washington. Throughout her life, Tammy held several jobs until she found her true calling as part of the Boeing Aircraft family in 1978. For almost 20 years, Tammy worked tirelessly to build and expedite the completion of aircrafts for Boeing across several locations including Enumclaw, Auburn, and Graham, Washington. She took great pride in her work and always ensured that each project was completed with utmost care and dedication.

In 1999, Tammy moved to Minnesota with the intention of being closer to her mother. She briefly resided in Miltona before eventually settling down in Wadena. During her time in Wadena, she found fulfillment in her 11-year tenure at the Rising Phoenix Thrift Store. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Wadena. Tammy's compassionate nature extended to her involvement with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), reflecting her deep care for animals.

Last year marked a significant milestone in Tammy's life when she successfully obtained her driver's license. She possessed a green thumb and took immense pleasure in tending to plants. Prior to the onset of arthritis in her hands, she found joy in painting and indulged in her passion for jewelry-making and crafting. Tammy had a fondness for antiques and collecting rocks, finding great delight in these hobbies. Additionally, she enjoyed fishing, reading, and cherished moments spent with her beloved cats.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and best friend, Esther Smit.

Tammy is survived by her brother, Lloyd (Lera) Pruden of Graham, Washington; two special friends, Sarah Walker of Deer Creek and Pamela Gillespie of Wadena; her work family at Rising Phoenix; and her feline companions, Little Bit and Spook.
