Shaylee P. Anderson, age 30, of Hoffman, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2024, at Vie Church in Alexandria with Pastor Patrick Herzog, Sr. officiating. Music is provided by the Vie Worship Team. Interment will take place at Reno Mission Cemetery, rural Lowry.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Sunday, June 9th, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
Shaylee Paige was born on October 27, 1993, in Asuncion, Paraguay. She was adopted by Thomas and Kimberly (Quiggle) Anderson of Holmes City at the age of two months. Her family moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee when she was five years old. They returned to Minnesota in 2006, and lived in Barrett. She graduated from West Central Area High School in 2012. Following her education, Shaylee was blessed to live and work with her best friend, Jessah Hale. Throughout her career with her family business at Andes Tower Hills, she served in all capacities of the operation, including web design, front desk, customer service, campground during summer months, and most recently as the assistant manager. Shaylee also worked at Dunham’s Sports and Pilot Gas Station in Alexandria. While working at Andes, Shaylee had a gift for helping adaptive skiers. Her favorite hobbies were downhill skiing, fishing and going on family vacations. She loved spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews and beloved dogs.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Larry Quiggle; and uncle, Jerry Anderson.
Shaylee is survived by her parents, Tom and Kim Anderson of Barrett; three brothers, Ryan (Jessica) Anderson of Seminole, Florida, Josh Stanphill of Laguna Beach, California, and Nic (Jen) Anderson of Savage; paternal grandparents, Paul and Mary Anderson of Alexandria; maternal grandmother, Dee Quiggle of Barrett; nieces and nephews, McKenzie, Noah, Jonah, Riley, Brandon, Caleb, and Ashton; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Pallbearers are Ryan Anderson, Josh Stanphill, Nic Anderson, Cory Shreve, Noah Stanphill, Chase Anderson, Nike Hale, and Jason Hale.
