Robert "Bob" Andrew Frechette, age 80, died Saturday, January 23, 2016, at his home in Miltona.

Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 30, 2016, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Belle River with Fr. David Petron officiating. Readers are his granddaughters, Shayla Frechette and Madison Peter and niece, Bonnie Shay. Gift bearers are his granddaughters, Rachel Frechette, Michon Peter and McKenna Peter. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Friday at Lind Family Funeral Home in Miltona and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Robert Andrew Frechette was born July 31, 1935, to Wilfred and Beatrice (Curran) Frechette in Saint Paul. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. He attended the Mechanic Arts High School in Saint Paul. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Jeanette "Jan" Steidl on February 8, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Paul. Following their marriage they were blessed with five children and raised their family in St. Paul and Burnsville. Bob worked at J.L. Shiely Concrete for 29 years. He and his wife, Jan, moved to Miltona in 1983. They owned and operated Club Miltona for many years, where they worked hard and made lasting friendships. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Belle River and the Miltona Lions Club. Bob was an avid sports fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Raymond; and sisters, Jean McKee, Theresa Beltz and Colleen Thornton.

Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette "Jan"; children, Gary (Jackie) Frechette and Greg (Betsy) Frechette both of Prior Lake, Gayle (Todd) Peter of Eagan, Glen (Keri) Frechette of Big Lake and Gretchen (Ted) Dertz of Shakopee; 16 grandchildren, Shayla (Jason Bressler) Frechette, Luke and Cole Frechette, Cloe, Connor and Camille Thelemann, Rachel and Bobby Frechette, Madison, Michon and McKenna Peter, Jake and Tanner Frechette, and Drake, Payton and Kazlin Thompson; three brothers, Chuck Frechette, Mickey (Jan) Frechette, and James (Rita) Frechette; three sisters, Joann (Lyle) Folkerts, Mary Leverty and Kathleen (Ray) Newton; many dear relatives and friends, especially the entire Steidl family, Bob loved you all so much!

Urnbearers are his grandsons, Luke Frechette, Bobby Frechette, Cole Frechette, Jake Frechette and Tanner Frechette.
