Richard Allen Doble, the son of Merion and Jeanette (Dallman) Doble, was born on October 22, 1937. During his life Richard worked for several farmers and scrapped car parts for the salvage yard in Eagle Bend. Richard enjoyed a good laugh as he would tell stories to his nieces and nephews and claims he never married because “women are trouble.” He was also known as the “hamburger guy,” as he frequented the local restaurant for hamburgers. Richard also was a very caring person and took care of his father while he was battling cancer. He especially loved spending time with his nephews and would take them deer hunting, fishing, on car rides, and drive-in movies. He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Phyllis and Lavonne.
Richard is survived by his siblings, Kathryn Wiedrich and Gerald Doble both of Redwood Falls; along with many nieces and nephews.
