Ralph O. C. Kottke, age 94, of Rlk River, formerly of Coon Rapids and Parkers Prairie, died peacefully at home, Saturday, August 20, 2011.
Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Parkers Prairie Cemetery with Rev. Kirk Lee officiating.
Ralph Owen Clark Kottke was born February 17, 1917, in Eagle Bend, Minnesota to Frederick and Olive Kottke. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. He was a former owner and operator of the filling station and store in Parkers Prairie. He was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces. He retired from the Anoka Post Office.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Lois; step-children, Jeanne (Jim) Leitte, Jack (Cathy) Hettwer, Adele (Jim) Grow, Matthew (Cindi) Hettwer and Mark (Sue) Hettwer; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jeff Hettwer; granddaughters, Alysha Grow and Laura Hettwer; and brother, Herbert Kottke.
