Pamela Wade

Pamela Sue Wade, age 63, of Henning passed away gently in her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, June 23, 2021.

Pamela Sue was born on September 26, 1957, in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Bernard and Jean (Murphy) Jones.  She grew up in the Richland Center, Wisconsin area.  Pam graduated from Richland Center Senior High School in 1976.  After high school she attended the University of Wisconsin-Richland Center and earned her Associates Degree.  She was married to Michael J. Wade on March 12, 1977.  They resided in Tennessee while Mike was stationed at Fort Campbell Army Base for 2 years, after which they returned to Richland Center where they lived and worked until 1987.  At that time, they re-located to Northfield, Minnesota.  Pam went back to school to earn her Medical Secretary Certificate and worked for several years as a Unit Secretary at the Northfield Hospital.  Her last years of work were spent at the Linder Insurance Agency.  In the spring of 2016, they made the move to retire at their vacation cabin in Henning.

Pam was a genuine, and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend.  She loved to travel and meet new people.  She took many cruises and visited countries across the world, from Japan to Hawaii and lots of places in between.  While she loved seeing all the sights, her greatest delights were her six grandchildren.  They spent hours playing games, making crafts and being silly.  She loved to spoil them and enjoyed giving the gifts of their wildest dreams.  A dirt-bike, a puppy, a calf…even peacocks! There was no price too big when it came to making their dream come true.  Pam was a very talented seamstress.  She made many quilts for people and especially loved making baby blankets.  Along with her many creative talents, her quick wit, spicy attitude, and big heart made her unique and irreplaceable.  She will be forever missed in so many ways by all who loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard Jones and Jean Hunt, and stepfather Jack Hunt.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mike Wade, two children; Michelle (Chris) Olson of Henning, and Paul (Elizabeth) Wade of Apple Valley; two brothers, Steve (Melinda) Jones of Richland Center, Wisconsin, and Gary (Nancy) Jones of Faribault; sister, Debra (Phil) Addis of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; six grandchildren Zach, Lily, Ashley, Kayley, Justin and Ryan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
