Michelle L. Weibye, age 51, of Parkers Prairie, died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at her ranch in Blackduck, Minnesota.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Michelle Lynn Knutson was born on June 21, 1970, to Kenneth and Kathy (Rothecker) Knutson in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was raised in Cummings, ND with her two siblings. She attended Central Valley School, where she was in dance line and graduated in 1988. After school, she worked as a CNA and managed the Super Pumper gas station in Hillsboro, ND. After being introduced by Michelle’s sister, she married the love of her life, Marty Weibye, on June 29, 1991, at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Hillsboro. The couple continued to grow in Hillsboro with Marty’s daughter, Mari, and the birth of their two sons, Andrew and Jon. After a couple short moves, the family settled in Parkers Prairie in 1998. Michelle and Marty both worked for Daniels Food Equipment. The couple teamed up and purchased Daniels Food Equipment in 2006 where she continued to own and operate until her passing. She was an amazing cook, loved feeding everyone, spoiling her family, caring for animals, and spending time at their ranch in Blackduck. She will forever be loved and greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank (Theone) Rothecker and paternal grandparents, Knute (Irene) Knutson.

Michelle is survived by her by her parents; husband of 30 years, Marty Weibye of Parkers Prairie; stepdaughter, Mari (Josh) Schroeder of Barnesville; two sons, Andrew (Suzannah) Weibye of Blackduck and Jon Weibye of Blackduck; grandchildren, Avery, Alex, and Aaron Schroeder and Henry and Mason Weibye; sister, Lisa (Josh) Kunkel of Breckenridge; brother, Craig (Jessica) Knutson of Grandin, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
