Michael Bovee

Michael Robert Bovee, age 64, of Alexandria, passed on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Alomere Health.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1-5 p.m., with a time of memory sharing at 4 p.m., Monday, July 19, 2021, at Lind Family in Alexandria.

Mike was the husband everyone dreams of, the father everyone wishes they had and a proud, loving papa. He always put other’s needs and happiness over his own. His wit, humor and dad jokes will forever be missed.

Mike was lucky to have been married to the love of his life, Diane, for 41 years. They got to wake up everyday and go live their dream together at the Ashby Resort for 20 years. The happiest he ever was, was when he was spending time with his family. He loved a lot of things but being grandpa, “Papa” was his favorite. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He was able to share so many cherished memories with them all.

He is survived by his wife, Diane; daughter, Jenny; son, Tom (Krystal); five grandchildren, Ashley, Kayla, Daniel, Jordyn, and Zander; siblings, Roger (Suzie), Bobbie (Jim), John (Mary Jo), and Debbie (Clayton); and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws, all of which he loved dearly.
