Matthew James Lovrien, infant son to Mark and Heather Lovrien, was born into the arms of Jesus on April 14, 2018 at 3:23 p.m. at the Douglas County Hospital.
While he never took one breath of life on Earth, he breathed life into the hearts of the hundreds his story reached. Every human brought to this Earth has a mission only God is aware of until He makes that mission known. Matthew touched hundreds of lives in the short time he was here, and we fully believe his mission was to awaken the power and glory of Christ. He is loved by so many and our hope is that through his life, others will find hope and love in Jesus.
While we mourn the loss of our precious son, we are also filled with love. Grief is really just love. It's all the love you want to give, but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in the hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go. May we use our love for you, sweet Matthew, to bring glory to God's name. You will still forever be our miracle and one of our greatest accomplishments..
Sleep peacefully in the arms of Jesus, our precious boy, until we can hold you again.
A private family service will be held at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria.
