Mark D. Miller

Mark D. Miller, age 61, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home near Eagle Bend. 

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mark Duane Miller was born on March 4, 1964, to Edward and Delpha (Diedrich) Miller in Parkers Prairie. He grew up on the family farm with his four siblings on Lake Irene. He attended Alexandria Public Schools, and when he was finished, he took full advantage of his youth and spent as much free time as he could fishing, hunting, and spending time with his friends. He was blessed with two daughters, Tonya and Ashley, and took great pride in raising them.

He worked for the Minnesouri Club on Lake Miltona doing the maintenance for many years. Mark had a natural gift for finding creative ways to fix and repair many things, and he was often generous to those who needed help. He enjoyed making others smile, and he will be deeply missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents and many of his aunts and uncles.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Tonya (Tyler) Anderson of Carlos and Ashley Rasmusson of Grey Eagle; grandchildren, Torie Nelson, Maizie Nelson, Lexus Miller, Rebeccah Rasmusson, and Remmington Rasmusson; brothers, John and Ronnie Miller; sisters, Caroline Miller and Marlene Hansen; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
