Mark Allen Heinrich, age 63, of Miltona, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at his home.

A memorial service is 11 a.m., Friday, March 25, 2016, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. Kirk Lee officiating. Burial is at Oak Leaf Cemetery in East Bethel.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria and will continue one hour prior to the service.

Mark Allen Heinrich was born December 17, 1952, to Robert and Marlene (Prail) Heinrich in West Saint Paul. He graduated from Simley High School in Inver Grove Heights in 1970. Mark was united in marriage to Betty Baker on November 16, 1974. Following their marriage they made their home in East Bethel. They were blessed with two children, Amie in 1978, and Cory in 1981. The family moved to the Alexandria area in 1994, due to Mark's employment. His wife, Betty passed away on September 8, 1996. Mark met Nancy Hachmann in 2001, and together they made their home in Miltona until his passing. Mark worked for Pope County Sanitation until 2001, and Lee's Construction before he retired from Central Specialties, Inc., in 2012. Mark enjoyed hunting, ice fishing on Lake Irene and Lake of the Woods, and watching football. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and visiting the "old guys" and sharing stories. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle Club Aerie #3063, since 1998.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Heinrich; wife, Betty; sisters, Sandra Johnson and Debra Heinrich; father-in-law, Virgil Baker; step-son, Christopher Hachmann; and grandchildren, Coltin Moos and Gracelind Betty Moos.

Mark is survived by his daughter, Amie Moos of Minnesota; son, Cory (Tiffany) Heinrich of Minnesota; significant other, Nancy Hachmann; mother, Marlene Heinrich of Arizona; step-daughters, Nicole Hachmann and Sheena Hachmann; sisters, Sharon Barlow of Minnesota and Dawn (David) DuRocher of Arizona; grandchildren, Ryan, Dominic, Braydyn, Spenser, Faith, Zach, Gavin, Abigail and Olivia.

Urn bearers are his grandchildren. Honorary urn bearers are Jeff Fischer, Paul Dolphy, Joe Dolphy, Marc Palmateer, Dennis Lund, David DuRocher, Gene Gibson and Jeff Harvey.
