Lucille Marie Vogt was born on July 8, 1933 on the family farm near Miltona to George and Esther (Robinson) Kuhne. She attended Miltona primary school and Alexandria public schools, graduating from Jefferson High School in 1951. She was united in marriage to Bernard "Benny" Vogt on April 29, 1952 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Parkers Prairie. Following their marriage, she and her husband lived and farmed in Leaf Valley Township. She became an Avon Rep. in 1985, where she continued working until her death. She was a member of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Millerville and achieved recognition as a member of the Avon President's Club. Her hobbies include gardening, baking, playing cards and board games. Lucille loved everything that had to do with John Deere. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her three sons, James Vogt, Richard (Dormayne) Vogt and David Vogt, all of Parkers Prairie; three daughters, Mary (John) Olmscheid of Elrosa, Lois (Scott) Roers of Alexandria and Ruth (Tim) Bowman of Parkers Prairie; two brothers, Harold (Ann) Kuhne of Parkers Prairie and George (Kathy) Kuhne of Miltona; three sisters, Marlys Kuhne and Sharon Revering, both of Alexandria, and Kathy (Philbert) Larson of Henning; 17 grandchildren and 17 great, grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bernard, son, Marvin, brother, Arnold and two sisters, Beatrice Wesley and Ann Zuehlke.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lance Vogt, Dale Vogt, Steven Vogt, Brad Vogt, Ben Vogt, Matt Vogt, Douglas Olmscheid, Jonathan Olmscheid, Marlin LaDean and Marshall Bennett.
