Lisa Ann Frederick, age 50, of Villard, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 27, 2021, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. Fred Walter officiating. The service will be live streamed on Lisa’s memorial obituary page on the Lind Family Funeral Home website. Interment will take place at West Lake Amelia Cemetery in rural Glenwood.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 26, 2021 at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria and continue one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lisa Ann Frederick was born on October 3, 1970 to Morris and Carol (Sanvig) in Alexandria, Minnesota. She was raised along with her seven siblings in St. James, Minnesota and moved to Villard when she was in the seventh grade. Lisa had a colorful high school experience, participating in cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, and held the honor of drum major in the marching band. She was president of the Future Home Makers of America and had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC with her chapter. Lisa was the homecoming queen in 1988 and graduated as valedictorian from Villard High School in 1989. Following her education she attended Alexandria Technical College to pursue a career in law enforcement. She gave birth to her first child in 1987 and second in 1992. Her children were her world, giving special attention to her son who was born with cerebral palsy which required numerous trips and surgeries. After her children were raised she continued to give her time to her grandchildren, which she loved dearly. Her hobbies outside of spending time with her family include cooking and baking, shopping, an avid sports enthusiast, and a passionate Green Bay Packers fan. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Villard.
She is proceeded in death by her father, Morris Frederick; and grandmother, Mildred Sanvig.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Carol Frederick; two children, Anthony (Angela) Frederick of Villard and Shelby (Amos) Eisel of Forada; brothers, Adam (Cindy) of Forada, Bryan (Nicole) of Alexandria, and Paul Frederick of Alexandria; sisters, Hope (Steve) Schuett of Glenwood, Tammy Stradtman of Starbuck, Jodi (Chad) Rademacher of Melrose, and Angel (Trevor) Nelson of Alexandria; grandchildren, Jeremiah Frederick, Addison Eisel, and Braxton Eisel; and 19 nieces and nephews.
