Lee A. Eisenbraun

Yuma, Arizona

Lee A. Eisenbraun, age 64, of Yuma, Arizona, formerly Clarissa, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Alomere Health in Alexandria. 

Marvin and Jean Eisenbraun welcomed their fifth child, a handsome, brown-eyed boy, on January 27th,1960. Lee was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Clarissa MN and graduated from Clarissa High School in 1979. He was married that fall and had one child, Chad Eisenbraun.

On May 18th, 1984, he was united in marriage to Diane Hoyme in Watertown, SD. They had 21 adventurous and loving years together until her death in 2006.

Lee began his career as a carpenter building houses. He built his own home in New Ulm, MN and always made time to help family and friends with their building and remodeling projects. But when someone would find a small blemish in the work, he would reply, “A man on a fast horse will never notice!” After mastering that craft, he became a cross-country truck owner/operator where he enjoyed many beautiful sights and meeting people from all walks of life. His last couple decades were as a heavy equipment operator.

Lee enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, woodworking, trap shooting and driving anything that ran. He was a good cook and enjoyed spending winters in Yuma, AZ where he had many friends.

A celebration of Lee’s life with family and friends will be announced at a later date.

He’s survived by his step-children, Keri Hoyme (Barb Else) of Phoenix, AZ and Jon (Stacy) Hoyme of Carlos, MN. His parents, Jean and Marvin Eisenbraun of Clarissa MN. Siblings, Joanne (Leo) Murphy of Fairfax, MN; Peggy Eisenbraun (Roger Goodrich) of Lake Crystal, MN; James (Joanne) Eisenbraun of River Falls, WI; Lori (Steve) Anshus of Ham Lake, MN; Kurt (Kathy) Eisenbraun of South Haven, MN. Also, numerous cherished nieces, nephews, friends, special friend, Bonny Marcyes and beloved dog, Mac.

Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Diane; son, Chad; brother Pat; and sister-in-law, Julie.
