Larry W. Krause, age 59, of Miltona, died Monday, January 18, 2016, as a result of an accident.
Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Monday, January 25, 2016, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Miltona with Rev. Terry Finnern officiating. Music is provided by organist, Deb Joachim. Burial is at the Parkers Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Sunday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Larry William Krause was born on August 27, 1956, to Lawrence and Ruth (Zeithamer) Krause in Parkers Prairie. He attended Miltona Elementary School and Alexandria Public Schools and graduated in 1974. Following his education he began working with his parents on the family farm until 1993, when he took sole responsibility for operating the farm. During his time working he milked cows and raised beef cattle. Larry was considered the neighborhood repairman as he enjoyed fixing things and helping friends with mechanical problems. He died doing what he loved most which was cutting wood.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Larry is survived by his two brothers, Loren (Lynn) Krause of Owatonna and Leon (Patty) Krause of Alexandria; two nieces, April (Matt) Grobner of Owatonna and Kayla Vogel of Alexandria; two great-nephews, Dylan and Tyler; and great niece, Maya.
Pallbearers are Frank Hoppe, Ben Hoppe, Ron Zeithamer, Kelly Hawkinson, Kenny Zeithamer, and Dave Chan.
