Kenneth C. Pohlmann, age 68, of Hoffman, died on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Prairie Ridge Hospital in Elbow Lake.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, 2022, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Brandon with Fr. Peter VanderWeyst officiating. Interment will take place at the church cemetery at a later date.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m., Thursday at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Kenneth Clarence was born on December 11, 1953, to Raymond and Mildred (Gerads) Pohlmann in Melrose. He was baptized on December 20, 1953, in Melrose. Kenneth graduated from Grey Eagle High School in 1971. Following his education, Kenneth began his roofing career with Herzog Roofing. He joined Buttweiler’s Do All, Inc. on February 1, 1978, where he worked until his retirement on December 4, 2015. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming and gardening. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Pohlmann; and son, Shawn Pohlmann.

Kenneth is survived by his six children, Sheila (Mark Stumpf) Christian of Upsala, Sharry Thompson of Albany, Scott Pohlmann of Brandon, Steve (Ann) Pohlmann of Millerville, Craig (Stephani) Pohlmann and Shalyn (Jason) Olson both of Brandon; mother, Mildred Pohlmann of Grey Eagle; 13 siblings, Viola (Mike) Fogel, Jim (Gloria) Pohlmann, Patty (Larry) Brake all of Grey Eagle, Shirley (Jim) Fuchs of Melrose, Susan (Mike) Haller of Coon Rapids, Jerry (Bev) Pohlmann, LeRoy (Janine) Pohlmann, Richard Pohlmann, Joanne Pohlmann, Bill (Kim) Pohlmann, Nancy (Dwight) Tschida, Donnie Pohlmann, and Michael Pohlmann, all of Grey Eagle; 16 grandchildren, Tori and Tara Christian, Savannah Stumpf, Jordan and Bryce Thompson, Logan and Riley Thompson, Parker, Kenan, and Brynlie Pohlmann, Croix, Knox, and Nixon Pohlmann, and Mason, Reegan, and Raelyn Olson; great-granddaughter, Aria Gerads; along with many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearer are his brothers.
