Judith Beth Ross

Judith B. Ross, age 66, of Forada, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 27, 2021, at her home.

A gathering to celebrate Judy's life will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5-8 pm at the Nassau Town Hall in Nassau, MN and Friday, May 6, 2022, from 5-8 PM at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria. 

Judy was born on May 7, 1955, to Kenneth and Agnes (Longhenry) Tobias in Ortonville, Minnesota. Judy enjoyed gardening with her mom, spending time with her dad, visiting her grandma and grandpa who lived nearby and hanging out with her brother. Judy was also a cheer leader and a majorette in high school and served as homecoming queen in her senior year. She worked at Morton Building and at the Douglas County Courthouse in the recorders office for 30 years. She married Larry Lommen and had a daughter, Erika, and later married Jeff Ross of Alexandria, and had a son, Justin. The family has lived in the lake areas ever since.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Karen Tobias; infant brother at birth; and husband, Jeff Ross.

Judy was loved and cherished by many people including her children, Justin Ross of Richfield, MN and Erika (Jack) Whitmore of Parker, Colorado; grandchildren, Jack, Jr., Chase, Cain, and Cash; brother, Daryl (Gloria) Tobias; sister-in-law, Jeanne Sorensen; brother-in-law, Dan Ross; niece, Kristen Tobias; nephews, Deane Tobias, Colby (Amy) Sorensen, and Ross (Jill) Sorensen; great-nieces, Jayla and Sia Sorensen; great-nephew, Dax Sorensen; along with many cousins and friends.
