Judith Ann Ellis

Judith Ann Ellis, 75, of Long Prairie, Minnesota passed away on January 18th, 2023 of natural causes.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 16, 2023, at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. David Mergens officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.

A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Judy was born on March 17th, 1947, to Helen Tuffs and Neil Penz from Long Prairie, Minnesota. Laughing and having heartfelt talks was a trait Judy was known for. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting as a pastime, as well as many other arts and crafts. We will miss her and remember Judith fondly.

Judy is preceded in death by her father, Neil Penz; sister, Terry Barker; son, Lee Guderian; and partner of 27 years, Rudy Boyer.

She is survived by her daughter, Bridget (Ellis) Hemenway and her husband, Matthew Hemenway; mother, Helen Haines; sister, Jacky DeVore; grandchildren, Justin Guderian-Throud, Kylee Guderian-Throud, Kayla Burns, Vincent Hemenway, Tierra Ellis, Derek Ellis; and many loved ones who thought of Judy as a beloved family member.
