Holly Mae Danielson

Holly M. Danielson, age 57, of Alexandria died on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Alomere Health.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2023, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria with Rev. Dave Mergens officiating.

Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Holly Mae was born on November 13, 1965, to Bonnie Luella (Karger-Allen) Turpin and Arden Albert Allen in Alexandria. She was united in marriage to Duane Danielson on December 30, 1988, in Spruce Center. Holly did many things for employment, she tended bar, worked in housekeeping, managed an apartment building, and in between jobs was a stay-at-home mom. Holly moved throughout Minnesota her entire adult life but settled back in the Alexandria area where she lived with her mother Bonnie until she died in 2021. When Holly died, she was living with her sister whom she truly enjoyed visiting with and drinking morning coffee. Her hobbies included lots of puzzle books and word searches, watching crime shows like Criminal Minds, all the Chicago shows and her cooking shows. Holly also enjoyed quilting, taking trips to the casino, and spending time with her dog Lulu. Holly’s true joy was spending time with her 11 grandchildren. She would often tell anyone that would listen that she was proud of her grey hair which she earned by having 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents; parents, Bonnie, Arden and stepfather, Pat; husband, Duane in 2004; and many aunts and uncles.

Holly is survived by her daughters, Nichole (Robert Brekken) Allen of Alexandria and Melissa Danielson of Fergus Falls; son, Brandon (Stacey) Danielson of Hoffman; six granddaughters, Alyssa, Mckenzie, Makayla, Kaylee, Emma, and Trinity; five grandsons, Parker, Antwone, Lucas, Quentin, and Ezra; sister, Margo Skinner of Alexandria; brothers, Jamie (Stephanie) Allen of Elbow Lake and Jerud Allen of Miltona; and many nieces and nephews.
