Geralene "Geri" Buck

Geralene “Geri” V. Buck, age 81, of Alexandria, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Galeon Senior Living in Osakis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alexandria with Father Matthew Kuhn officiating. Inurnment is at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Geralene Verna was born to Walter and Gertrude (Steinborn) Teschendorf on February 25, 1940. She completed school through the 9th grade. She married the love of her life, Floyd on October 30, 1956, in Le Sueur, Minnesota. Together they raised their five children. Geri worked in Alexandria at Knute Nelson, Country Inn, and did sales for several organizations. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, camping, and playing games. Above all, she loved spending time with her family, and she will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gertrude; sister, Sandy Neilson; and sons, Steven and Keith Buck.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Floyd Buck; daughters, Kathy Zarb, Susan Webb, and Tracy Hamari; sisters, Delpha Passon and Marilyn Lund; brothers, Larry, Dennis, and Rick Teschendorf; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
