Gage S. Riesselman, age 29, of Alexandria, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Gage Scott Riesselman was born January 8, 1996, in Alexandria to Scott and Roxanne (Iverson) Riesselman. He proudly shared his birthday with his great-grandfather, Cliff. Gage was raised in Alexandria alongside his younger brother and attended Alexandria Public Schools. He discovered skateboarding at the age of seven and became deeply involved in the local skateboarding community, always eager to learn and later to help others develop their skills. At age eight, he began attending the Sonshine Music Festival in Willmar, which helped shape his lifelong passion for music. He started playing the violin in fifth grade and performed with the Alexandria High School Orchestra through graduation. Gage graduated from Jefferson High School in 2014 and went on to work in various manufacturing positions in the area. In his free time, he continued to pursue his passions for skateboarding and music while developing new interests in drawing and gaming. He cherished annual deer hunting trips at the family cabin north of Park Rapids with his uncles, cousins, and great-grandfather. Gage loved animals, especially dogs, and shared his life with many beloved canine companions. He was very close with his great-grandparents and spent a great deal of time with them. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Gage was preceded in death by his uncle and godfather, Chad Iverson; grandparents, Joe and Vicky Riesselman; and great-grandparents, Cliff and Viola Iverson and Arnold and Phyllis Olson.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Roxanne Riesselman of Alexandria; brother, Wyatt Riesselman of Alexandria; grandparents, Vernon and Mavis Iverson of Alexandria; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
