Eileen Frances was born to Paul and Amelia (Stich) Koep on October 4, 1950, in Parkers Prairie.  She was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  She attended parochial school in Urbank and graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1968.  Eileen was united in marriage to Bernard “Bernie” Suchy on April 19, 1969, at Sacred Heart Church in Urbank.  Following their marriage, they were blessed with three wonderful children, Sandra, Patrick and Kim.  They farmed together east of Urbank for 31 years.  Her passion on the farm was caring for the newborn calves, and record keeping, which she excelled in. She loved golden retrievers and cared for them as her own over the years.  Following retirement, they moved to their home near Inspiration Peak.  Eileen worked various jobs in the local area, her latest was with JAK’s Custom Apparel in Parkers Prairie.  She enjoyed visiting with people and was forced to stop working due to health concerns.  Eileen loved reading books, watching Hallmark movies, collecting angels, making frosted sugar cookies, and her famous bauchies, (fried bread dough).  She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and attending their activities and sporting events.  Eileen was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and volunteered decorating the church and care of the flowers.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and sister.  She will be dearly missed but knowing she will be right beside us through life’s journey brings tremendous peace.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Amelia Koep; brother, Wesley; and sister-in-law, Darla Koep.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bernie; daughter, Sandra  Lee  (Donald) Hansen of Vining; two sons, Patrick Joseph Suchy of Brandon and Kim Paul (Paula) Suchy of Golden Valley; three brothers, Marv (Judy) Koep of Breezy Point, Joseph (Eileen) Koep and Philip (Kathy) Koep both of Clitherall; sister, Bev (Tom) Lorine of Clitherall; seven grandchildren, Lydia, John, Katherine, and Monica Hansen, Chandler, London, and Taylor Suchy; along with many nieces and nephews and relatives.
