Eileen Blashack

Eileen E. Blashack, age 87, of Maple Grove, formerly of East Moline, Illinois, passed away July 25, 2012, at St. Therese Care Center, New Hope. She is preceded in death by herhusband of 52 years, Gordon; sisters, Alva Heideman and Mildred Miller. She is survived by her children, Daniel Imelda Blashack, Sharon (Warren) Carlson, Dennis (Evelyn) Blashack and Rick (Joan) Blashack; grandchildren, Brian, Joseph, Gina, Melissa, Jon, Father Glenn Harris, Kim, Mark, Darren and Kelly; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marcella (Bill) Stone and Delores Blashack. Eileen's grandchildren and great-grandchildren brightened her day. She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Eileen had a major role in the success of the family construction business, utilizing her accounting training and skills. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 9100 93rd Avenue North, Brooklyn Park. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the mass and a luncheon will follow. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2012, at St. Williams Catholic Cemetery in Parkers Prairie with Father LeRoy Scheierl officiating.
