Edward LeRoy Eckstrom

Edward Leroy Eckstrom, age 96, Alexandria, formerly of Mpls, died on January 18, 2025.

Ed graduated from Benson High School, Omaha in 1946, and attended North Park College. He met his future wife on board the M/S Gripsholm in 1948 while travelling to Sweden. Ed was a general contractor who built custom homes in the west metro area. Lake Alice in the BWCA was his special place. 

He is survived by son Peter; grandchildren Rachel (Blake) Meyer, Gillian (Nicholas) Venzon, and Nicholas; and five great grandchildren.

Preceded by parents Reuben and Helga Eckstrom; wife Helen; and son Eric.

Private interment.
