Delwin O. Freudenberg, age 84, of Parkers Prairie, died Friday, March 13, 2015, at St. Williams Living Center in Parkers Prairie.
Funeral Services are 2 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2015, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Miltona with Rev. Terry Finnern officiating. Music is provided by soloist, Dedra Zwieg. Burial is at Parkers Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Friday, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Parkers Prairie and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Delwin Orvin Freudenberg was born August 2, 1930, to Walter and Adelia (Diedrich) Freudenberg in Parkers Prairie Township at their home. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie. Delwin attended Country School District 11 and Parkers Prairie Public School until the seventh grade. At a young age Delwin developed a love for farming and as a result dedicated his life to it. He was a former member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie. He was a member and former deacon of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Miltona. He loved country western music, playing cards, traveling to Branson, Missouri and visiting with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Delwin is survived by his sister, Verdell (Alvin) Krueger of Alexandria; two nephews, Orvin (Susan) Krueger of Garfield and Leland Krueger of Alexandria; niece, Jeanine (Rick) Larson of Alexandria; five great nieces, Amanda (Laif) Rognlin, Heather Krueger, Kaylee Krueger, Ashley Larson and Heidi Larson; great nephew, Phillip Krueger; great-great niece, Kathryn Dahlen; great-great nephew, Adrian Dahlen; and special neighbors, Steve and Pat Sukraw.
Pallbearers are Steve Sukraw, Kenneth Raap, Paul Diedrich, Orvin Krueger, Phillip Krueger, Leland Krueger and Rick Larson. Honorary Pallbearers are Susan Krueger, Jeanine Larson and his remaining great and great-great nieces and nephews.
