Delmer L. Judson, 96, of Osakis, died Saturday, December 12, 2009, at the Community Memorial Home.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie with Rev. Kirk Lee officiating. Music will be provided by organist, Dean Swanson and vocalist Dedra Zwieg. Burial will take place at Parkers Prairie Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Parkers Prairie and continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Delmer LeRoy Judson was born May 9, 1913, to Rueben and Minnie (Wagner) Judson in Parkers Prairie. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. He attended country school in Oak Valley and Inman Townships and Deer Creek Public Schools. He was united in marriage to Beulah Finck in June of 1942. Following their marriage they lived in Deer Creek. He worked as a cement mason throughout the United States for over 40 years. His wife, Beulah died in April of 1972. Following her death, he lived in the Parkers Prairie and Leaf Valley area. He continued working as a mason, farmed and was active in purchasing and reselling farm equipment. He was united in marriage to Lorraine Jepson on October 31, 1987, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osakis. Following their marriage they made their home in Osakis where he lived until the time of his death. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a former member of the Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing and in his earlier years, he loved playing baseball.

Delmer is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two daughter, Verna Fuhrman of Deer Creek and Kathy Sigfrid of Brandon; a step-son, Ronald (Arlene) Hilmer of Hastings; two sisters, Delores Franklin and Edna Judson both of Burnsville; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Beulah; three brothers, Lester, Irvin and Ray and a grandson, Nathan Sigfrid.

Pallbearers will be Todd Sigfrid, Cody Sigfrid, Kelie Mohs, Jerry Judson, Mike Lien and Howard Berg.
