Chad A. Iverson, age 46, of Alexandria, died surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at Quiet Oaks Hospice House in St. Cloud.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria.
Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
Chad Allan was born on August 28, 1978, in Alexandria to Vernon and Mavis (Westrud) Iverson. He was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria, where he also attended public school. Following his education, he worked as a welder in a machine shop in Alexandria and later Sauk Rapids. Chad was blessed with his first child, Keonia, before his marriage to Crystal Richardson. From their union, another child, Denis, was born. Later, Chad married Rebecca “Becky” Money on September 27, 2020, in Sauk Rapids. They made their home in Sauk Rapids, where Chad continued welding for a short time before stepping away due to health concerns. He was a supporter of the “Rails to Trail” program through donations and enjoyed riding the many trails in the area, including the Wobegon Trail. Chad had a passion for cars, biking, and camping. He also enjoyed gaming and watching movies.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Chad is survived by his wife, Becky of Sartell; parents, Vernon and Mavis Iverson of Alexandria; two children, Keonia (fiancé, Aaron Lameira) Iverson of Fargo, North Dakota and Denis Iverson of Brandon; two stepchildren, Mackenzy Hassett of St. Paul and Natalie Hassett of St. Cloud; two grandchildren, Skyler and Kaden; sister, Roxanne (Scott) Riesselman of Alexandria; two nephews, Wyatt and Gage; and aunt, Carol (Fred) Stueve of Sartell.
