Bryan L. Lewis, age 64, of Miltona, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Alomere Health in Alexandria.
A gathering of friends to celebrate his life will be held from 3-6 p.m., on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria.
Bryan Lee was born on August 6, 1960, to Clayton and Vivian (Freske) Lewis in Alexandria. He grew up in Urbank and was baptized and confirmed at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Bryan graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1978. During his years at home, he worked on construction and operated heavy equipment. Following his education, he worked for Schwan’s Foods throughout the United States and met and married Brenda Diedrich. Bryan returned to Minnesota in the late 1990’s and met his future bride, Janine Christensen. They were married on October 4, 2003, at their new home in Miltona. Bryan was a through and true salesman and enjoyed selling boats and cars at Alex Auto Marine until more recently with Ray’s Marine. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing, plowing snow, and looking for deer driving his side-by-side. He will be long remembered for his sense of humor and telling it like it was.
He was preceded in death by his father Clayton Lewis.
Bryan is survived by his wife of 21 years, Janine; mother, Vivian Lewis of Alexandria; parents-in-law, Bob and Ivy Christensen of Miltona; two daughters, Trish (Jordan) Lewis Tichnell of Cumberland, Maryland and Natasha (Adam) Pitcher of Carlos; two sons, Jacob (fiancée, Jamie Glad) Lewis of Cumberland, Maryland and Dustin Rawlings of Miltona; sister, Tammy (Jeff) Meyer of Cottage Grove; brother, Rusell Lewis of Staples; sister-in-law, Renee (Mike) Drew; brother-in-law, Robert (Pam) Christensen; four grandchildren, Reigan, Jameson, Isabella, and Hope; nieces, Sarah Drew and Samantha Christensen; nephews, Dylan Lewis, Michael (Allison) Drew, R.C. (Kenzie) Christensen, and Isaac (Kylie) Christensen; great nieces and nephews, Michael, Hailey, Preston, Derek, Emma, and Charlie; along with a host of friends.
Urn bearers are Grant Wunderlich, Leon Wunderlich, and Nate Leininger.
