Bradley "Brad" Skramstad

Bradley “Brad” G. Skramstad, age 60, of Alexandria, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, at Bethany on the Lake in Alexandria.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria with Fr. Steve Binsfeld presiding. Music is provided by Laurie J. Youngers. Inurnment is at the St. Mary's Columbarium.

Visitation is one hour prior to the service.

Bradley Grant Skramstad was born on December 18, 1957, to Grant and Elizabeth (Zavadil) Skramstad in Alexandria. He attended and graduated from Alexandria Public Schools. Brad continued his education at Alexandria Technical College and received an associate’s degree in Sales Marketing and Truck Driving. During his life he was manager for Trade Home Shoes and drove school bus for over 30 years. Brad was a sociable person and loved people. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, roller skating in Carlos, and camping with friends and family. He loved collecting die cast cars, watching NASCAR and going to the races. Bradley was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Christine and Joseph Zavadil and Arthur and Ragna Skramstad; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Brad is survived by his brother, Todd Skramstad of Alexandria; sister, Vickie (Wayne) Oberg of Alexandria; niece, Emily Oberg; faithful companion, Shadow; and many friends.
