Beth A. Wilde

Beth A. Wilde, age 61, of Parkers Prairie, died on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, June 27, 2025, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie with Rev. Kirk Lee, Rev. Jon Jahnke, and Vicar Joseph Bates officiating. Music is provided by organist, Maureen Diedrich and soloist, Kelly Martin. Interment will be held at the Parkers Prairie Cemetery. Full military honors accorded by the Minnesota Honor Guard and the Parkers Prairie American Legion Post #219.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Immanuel Lutheran church and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Beth Anne was born on August 25, 1963, to Robert and Joanne (Lehmann) Kalpin at Travis Air Force Base near Fairfield, California. She was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fairfield and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie, Minnesota. Beth graduated from Parkers Prairie High School in 1981. She went on to attend cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser until her sister encouraged her to enlist in the military. Beth enlisted with the United States Marine Corps on June 23, 1987. She attended Marine Corps 4th Recruit Training Battalion at Parris Island, South Carolina and later in Okinawa, Japan, where she served with the 7th Communication Battalion. It was also there that she met her future husband, Michael Allen Wilde. They were united in marriage on December 15, 1989, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Parkers Prairie. Following her honorable discharge, Beth began a dedicated career with the United States Postal Service as a Postal Clerk. She served faithfully for 30 years before retiring on April 30, 2025. Beth was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed coffee at Elderwoods, making handmade cards, and researching family history through ancestry. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially holding her two grandbabies.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Kalpin; father-in-law, Clifford Wilde; great-niece, Avee Marie; and mother-in-law, Virginia Wilde.

Beth is survived by her husband of 35 years, Michael; three children, Jennifer (Kirby) Chermak, Stephanie Wilde, and Joshua (Alexandra) Wilde; two granddaughters, Lainey Ann Wilde and Michele Elizabeth Chermak; mother Joanne Kalpin; two siblings, David Kalpin and Amy (Larry) Hunter; nieces and nephews, Joanne (Richard) Carter, Mary Hunter, Andrew (Hope) Hunter, Katie (Austen) Wemmers, and Jacey Wilde; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kyrin Carter, Kiyla Carter, Adonis Carter, Parker Hunter, Kaison Hunter, and Henry Wemmers; brother-in-law Kevin Wilde; and sister-in-law, Michelle (Kenny) Allen.

Pallbearers are Chad Helmick, Carl Vandervort, Daniel Vandervort, Ryan Penrose, Ryan Lahman, and Kyle Barrows. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Wilde, Kirby Chermak, Jenni Chermak, Stephanie Wilde, Alexandra Wilde, Katie Wilde, Jacey Wilde, Mary Hunter, Joanne Carter, and Andrew Hunter.
