Gloria “Ann” was born on April 3, 1938, to Walter and Frieda (Klein) Huwe in Parkers Prairie. She grew up there and graduated as valedictorian of her high school class. After completing her education, she moved to St. Paul, where she worked as a secretary at Univac. She was united in marriage to Sam Fudenberg in 1958 in St. Paul. While raising their two children, she also kept busy as an administrator working from home. In 1991, Gloria was united in marriage to Robert Pulscher. Shortly thereafter, they retired and made their home in Alexandria. Robert passed away in 2016, and she continued to live in Alexandria. Gloria loved being an active member of Calvary Lutheran Church where she had many friends, sang in the choir and was a frequent volunteer. Gloria found joy in gardening, reading, attending plays and musical events and “lunching with the ladies.” She always put others first, was a great listener and never had a bad word to say. These qualities were appreciated by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert; and sister Joyce Jahnke.
Gloria is survived by her son, Brian (Elizabeth Mansfield) Fudenberg of Golden Valley; daughter, Brenda (Brian) Riner of Edina; three grandchildren, Anne Fudenberg, Scott (Chloe) Fudenberg, and Emily Riner; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations to J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice Staff and Calvary Lutheran Church in lieu of flowers.
