Ann Marie Wagner, age 92, of Glenwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at her home.

The family will be holding a private service at a later date.

Ann was born on April 30, 1934, to Sidney and Marion (Gandrud) Tweeton in Barnesville. She was raised in Barnesville before the family moved to Fargo, North Dakota, and eventually settled in Glenwood. She graduated from Glenwood High School in 1952. In high school she was a talented musician who sang soprano in choir and played French horn in band, earning the status of All-State Band member.

After school, she worked in Minneapolis for a time, before moving back to Glenwood where she married Dick Gasser. Together they had two children, Vicki and Brian. In 1975, she married Gordy Wagner and to this union, Nicole was born. Together, Gordy and Ann ran several trucking businesses with the last one being a courier. Ann worked in the offices of these businesses. Later in life she enjoyed selling real estate.

In her leisure life, Ann enjoyed shopping, shopping, and more shopping, sprinkled in with an occasional trip to the casinos. Road trips and her daily drive by Lake Minnewaska were very important to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John Tweeton; sister-in-law, Carol Tweeton; mother and father-in-law, Dorothy and Glenn Hoplin; brothers-in-law, Timmy and Bruce Wagner; and nephew, Troy Wagner.

She is survived by her husband, Gordy; daughters, Vicki Christensen and Nicole (Mark) Meyer; son, Brian (Jackie) Gasser; sibling-in-laws, Merle (Bonnie) Wagner, Terri Wagner, Eileen (Butch) Holtberg, Suzanne Schurr, and Kevin Wagner; grandchildren, Alia (Lars) Ossmo, Dane (Brooke) Christensen, Nate Christensen, Michael (Mindie) Gasser, Jackson Meyer, Isaac Meyer, and Carter Meyer; great-grandchildren, Magnus Ossmo, Liv Christensen, Sylvie Christensen, Jude Christensen, and Leo Christensen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
