Amilee “Ami” (Reger) Woida, age 38, of Brandon, passed away March 1, 2026, at her family home in Brandon Township.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. and conclude with a 7 p.m. prayer service on Friday, March 6, 2026, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria.

Ami was born on July 24, 1987, to Joanne (Webb) and Stephen Reger in Alexandria, Minnesota. In 2005, she graduated from Brandon High School.

Ami married John Woida in 2008, and together they shared three children: Chloe, Stephen, and Jadyn. Though their marriage later ended, they remained close friends throughout her life. In 2023, Ami began a new chapter of life with her partner, Seth Gonzalez, and cherished the opportunity to be part of the life of his daughter, Alice, whom she affectionately called her “mini monster.” Her family was her greatest pride and joy. Becoming a mother at a young age brought challenges, but she faced them with remarkable strength and determination. She raised children who continue to reflect that same resilience and love.

Ami had a deep love of stories and could often be found with her nose in a book, especially drawn to fantasy and mystery. She was also a whimsical collector, always noticing beauty in the small things, from unique stones gathered on sunset walks to treasured antiques like Precious Moments figurines. She loved spending time outdoors as well, enjoying hunting and fishing, traditions she shared with her late father. Whether exploring nature or sharing a conversation, Ami had a gift for connecting with others. A true social butterfly, she could strike up a conversation with anyone about anything. Her presence was impossible not to love, and she had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Ami lit up every room she entered with infectious laughter and comforting words.

In her most recent years, Ami was able to return to the home place where she had grown up. Growing up, the property was often filled with extended family and cousins running around together outdoors, creating a childhood rich with family and shared experiences.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Reger; her uncle Charles “Chuck” Webb; her aunts Christine (Reger) Arneson and Susan (Reger) Arneson; and her grandfather, Charles “Doc” Webb.

Ami is survived by her partner, Seth Gonzalez of Brandon; children, Chloe Woida of Brandon, Stephen Hamilton of Sauk Centre, and Jadyn Woida of Brandon; mother Joanne (Webb) Johnson of Evansville; siblings, Allison (Chris) Mitlyng of Sartell, Andy (Sarah) Kolle of Duluth, Anthony (Angie) Reger of Kensington, and Courtney Reger of Alexandria; nieces and nephews, Adam Mitlyng, Myles Reger, Beau Reger, Zane Reger, Krew Reger, V. Issac Nokes, and Charles Ethan Nokes; former husband John Woida of Urbank; grandmother Anni Webb of Alexandria; and a plethora of cousins, aunts and uncles. She also enjoyed close relationships with members of Seth’s family, especially Alice Gonzalez, as well as her best friend, Brittany Johnson.
