Alice Emmert

Alice F. Maydole was born on Feb. 14, 1933 to Peter and Ethel Maydole in Aitkin County, Minnesota, one of 6 children. She spent her youth moving with her family to Oregon and Minnesota graduating from the Doran,MN Area schools. She met Cliff and was married while Cliff was in the military on Aug. 7, 1953 in El Paso, Texas. After the military, they moved to Breckenridge, MN for several years before settling in Alexandria in 1957 to raise their family. Alice was a nurse's aide at both Lady of Mercy and Douglas County Hospitals retiring after 25 years of service.  They were members of United Methodist Church in Alexandria. In their retirement years, she and Cliff traveled to many states with their camper and wintered in Florida.

Alice suffered a stroke in 2017 and remained at home until 2019 when she entered Alex Assisted Living where she peacefully passed away on June 8, 2020.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; one sister; daughter-in-law, Kim; and a grandson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Cliff, daughter, Gaye (Keith) of Garfield; sons, Cliff C. (Jeanne) of Houston, Texas, Clint of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Curtis of Alexandria, and Craig (Kelly) of Denver, Colorado; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Family graveside service will be held at a later date with internment at Kinkead Cemetery.
