Alexis "Lexi" Foley

Alexis “Lexi” Foley, age 21, of Minneapolis, formerly of Alexandria, died unexpectedly of natural causes in her home on Monday, March 15, 2021.

A celebration of life service is 11 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Vie Church in Alexandria with Pastors Patrick and Amy Herzog officiating.  Music is provided by Amy Herzog and Kiley Ramstorf.  The service will be live streamed from Lexi’s obituary page on the funeral home website. Radio broadcast on 105.3 FM will be available to cars in the parking lot as well.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m., with a 7 p.m.,  prayer service on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Lind Family Funeral Home in Alexandria.  The visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Alexis Diane “Lexi” was born on August 5, 1999, to Dennis and Jilene (Larson) Foley in Robbinsdale. She was her parent's greatest joy and a shining light to all who knew her.  Lexi grew up in Alexandria where she attended St. Mary's Parochial School and Alexandria Public Schools.  Following her education, Lexi worked as a caregiver in residential services and loved serving others, especially those in need. She will lovingly be remembered as a faithful follower of Christ, an encourager, leader, and amazing friend to many while living and leading her best life.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Janell (Larson) Lyon on September 22, 2020.

Lexi is survived by the love of her life, her son, Silas; parents, Dennis and Jill Foley of Alexandria; maternal grandparents, Minton and Diane Larson of Alexandria; paternal grandparents, Donald and Bernadette Foley of St. Paul; three aunts, Barbara (Dennis) Widmer of Roseville, Anne (Paul Boyle) Goetz of St. Paul, and Liz (Jeff) Schreier of Naples, Florida; uncle, Timothy Foley of St. Paul; Silas’ father, Dustin Wensmann of Alexandria; boyfriend, Jake Dale of Minneapolis; ten cousins, Janae’ Lyon, Jen Leach, Mary Coates, Mike Widmer, Christina Foley, Keaton Rosenbaum, Tim Goetz, Foley, Henry and Phyllis Schreier; along with a host of friends.

Urnbearers are her cousins, Christina Foley and Phyllis Schreier.  Honorary urnbearers are her remaining cousins.
