Terrance L. “Terry” Koep, age 63, of Sebeka, formerly of Urbank, died Friday, December 8, 2017, at St. William’s Living Center in Parkers Prairie.
A private family service was held. Burial was at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Urbank.
Terrance Leonard Koep was born on March 11, 1954, to Wendelin Sr. and Lorraine (Klimek) Koep in Parkers Prairie. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith. He attended Brandon Public Schools where he played baseball for the school team and the Urbank Bombers. Terry graduated from Brandon High School. Following his education, he worked as a Herdsman for Mike Lien, his brother, Jerry, and in Butler and Amor, Minnesota. He also worked for the green house in Hill View for eight years. Terry enjoyed canning vegetables for his neighbors and friends. He loved to play cards and cribbage and was especially fond of his dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin Koep; sister-in-law, Bernice Koep; two infant sisters, Loraine and Lorraine; brother-in-law, Neil Martenson; and step-mother Elreen Koep.
Terrance is survived by his siblings, Jerome Koep of Parkers Prairie, Clifford Koep of Brandon, Wendelin Jr. (Joan) Koep of Evansville, Arleen Martenson of Rockford, Myron (Virginia) Koep of Brandon, Allen (Debbie) Koep of Ramsey, Alan Hagedorn of Clitherall, Wayne (Carol) Koep of Brandon, Ronald (Anne) Koep of Parkers Prairie, Gerard (Doris) Koep of Urbank, and Ralph (Connie) Koep of Coates; friend, Joan of Sebeka; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers are Allen Koep, Alan Hagedorn, Wayne Koep, Ron Koep, Ralph Koep, and Dennis Klimek.
