Carrie Kalsbeck (Schueler) was born on June 7, 1963 in Fergus Falls, MN. She worked as a paraprofessional on the school bus through District 206. She took deep joy in building relationships with the staff and students on the bus. Carrie often rode on the special needs bus and made the children feel seen and loved. From engaging in meaningful conversation to cuddling them up in her warm blankets, Carrie always wanted them to know they had a safe place with her. This was a theme throughout her entire life: always giving to others before thinking of herself. She loved well.

Carrie had one child, Nattiel Dammer, who resides in Alexandria, and three grandchildren, who were her entire world. Jase Lindstrom (14), Trystan Lindstrom (8), and Blaise Peery (1) brought more joy to her life than anything else ever had. Jase and Trystan spent countless hours with their Grandma at the farm she lived on with Harvey Lindstrom, her life partner. Together, they would mow, plant flowers, do chores, and tend to the many animals. She adored her chickens and horses. Ginger, Rocko, and Bentley were her three dogs who she babied and loved every minute of her life. Carrie and Harvey were perfect partners and true soulmates. She experienced joy, peace and serenity in life at the farm. She passed at the place she loved the most.

Her time spent on Earth was nothing short of extravagant. There was never a dull moment with her. From a very young age, she showcased many talents and made it clear she was a force to be reckoned with. Her one liners, jokes, and infectious laughter will forever replay in the heads of all who knew her. Above her stove, a sign read, "Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway." That is how she lived her life.

She is survived by her life partner, Harvey Lindstrom; husband, Tom Kalsbeck; daughter, Nattiel Dammer; grandsons, Jase Lindstrom, Trystan Lindstrom, and Blaise Peery; mother and father, Orin and Dorothy Schueler; sister, Ann Pedraza, brother, Jay Schueler; sister, Stephanie Schueler; her dogs, horses, and chickens; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other beloved relatives.
