Barbara Ann "Bobbie" Kaszynski, age 102, of Alameda, California, formerly of Urbank, died January 10, 2016, at Alameda Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Sacred Heart Church in Urbank with Fr. Herb Gappa officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.

Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Friday at Sacred Heart Church in Urbank with a 7 p.m. parish prayer service. The visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Bobbie Ann (Koep) Kaszynski was born in Urbank, Minnesota on October 14, 1913, to John & Anna Koep, delivered by Mrs. George Kramer. She married Edward Albert Kaszynski in 1947. They met in Hollywood, California and had her son, Greg while her husband flew the Berlin Airlift, their daughter, Gail was born while he was attending MIT.
Bobbie Ann (Koep) Kaszynski always had a love for travel. Although she spent her early years living and working with families around Urbank, later on she could say, "I touched all 48 states on the Greyhound bus, just like my son Greg did on his motorcycle." Bobbie lived in all three time zones, and was lucky enough to still be traveling in her 101st year. At 102, she was still full of love, plans and songs.

She loved life, music, dancing and made life fun. As one of her great nephews said, "One thing I am taking to heart from her and the other aunts is they never stop laughing and loving. Never have I met a group of ladies that could light up a room with smiles and laughter."

Bobbie is survived by her children, Gail (Michael) Harris of Alameda, California and Greg (Sandy) Kaszynski of Olympia, Washington; grandchildren; Gail's children, Shane, Taj & Marrissa Harris; Greg's children, Jayne Rossman, Laura Kaszynski, Katie (Luca) Ferroni, David (Jane) Kelley; great-granddaughter; Aurora; sister; Marion Stone; and sister-in-law; Adeline Koep.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters; Elizabeth Dorn, Caroline Koep, Theresa Koep and Genevieve Meissner; and brothers, John, Donald and Frank Koep.
